James B. Rogers
Since inception, James Rogers has been our CEO, President, Principal Executive Officer, Treasurer and a member of our Board of Directors. Mr. Rogers has extensive experience in the development of real estate as follows:
1979 - 1981: California Custom home builder in Redwood City, Woodside, San Carlos, Half Moon Bay, San Mateo, Belmont, Atherton, Menlo Park & Discovery Bay.
1981 - 1986: Land acquisitions entitled and remarketed: 25 acre subdivision in Livermore CA, 600 acre rancherette subdiision in Hayward CA and multifamily land purchase and entitlement in San Francisco, CA.
1987 - 1993: President and Partner of Land Tech Development; developed projects as master planner and sub divider.

15 Acre 17 lot sub division in San Carlos, CA.

1000 Acre sub division in Bakersfield, CA (residential, park, school, commercial, and a shopping center).

Bought and sold 8 ranches in Oregon (logged, subdivided and sold).

1994 - 1998: Formed new entity Saratoga Development -
Projects included:
17 Lot sub division in Saratoga, CA.
Designed and built 4 homes in Saratoga, CA (prices ranging from $1.5 to $2.5 million).
Built homes in Atherton and Portola Valley, CA (prices ranging from $1.5 to $3.5 million).
1998 - 2010: President and Partner of Pico Ranch, Inc., a land development company.

Development of a 500 acre estate sub division in Morgan Hill, CA.

Bought and remodeled a 20 unit apartment building in Redwood City, CA.

Built 4 separate 25 to 50,000 sf Tilt-up commercial buildings in Rockland, CA (owned and leased).

Built & sold 2 selfstorage facilities;- 55,000 sf Grape Ave. Self-Storage in Sunnyvale, CA and 66,000 sf Lincoln Ave. Self-Storage in Willow Glen, CA.

Subdivided a 32 acre business park in Roseville, Vintage Oaks Business Park, CA (consisted of 15 buildings, worth $75 million, with medical offices, research and development ,flex spaces, and offices), 5 Story mixed use building (retail and residential) in Downtown Sacramento, CA and acquired, funded and entitled a 1,300 acre multi venue Motorsports Park RMP which consisted of 15 race tracks, water park, camp ground, food court, entertainment center. RMP received approval but was never built due to the collapse of the economy.
James built 4 custom multimillion dollar homes, for personal investment, currently owned and used as rentals in Los Gatos and Saratoga, CA.
2011 - Present: Creation and development of all aspects of Spirit of California Entertainment Group, Inc. a 2020 acre Entertainment Park.
